Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the restaurant or hospitality venue.


• Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.


• Manage food preparation and production processes, adhering to safety and quality standards.


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and dining space.


• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.


• Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.


• Collaborate with the management team to implement new policies and procedures aimed at improving efficiency.

• Proven experience in overseeing food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.


• Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.


• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential; culinary experience is highly desirable.


• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance within the kitchen environment.


• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.


• Experience in serving customers effectively, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.


• Familiarity with barista duties would be an advantage.
