Assistant Bar and Restaurant Manager

The Queens has been closed for over five years and is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Bar and Restaurant Manager to work alongside and assist the owner at this iconic, historical venue.

You will be in charge of the day to day running of the bar and restaurant ensuring excellent customer service, smooth operations, and a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the daily management of the bar and restaurant

· Lead, motivate and supervise the team

· Deliver exceptional customer service

· Assist with staff training and development

· Manage stock, ordering and inventory

· Ensure compliance with food, hygiene, licensing and health and safety regulations

· Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally

· Implement opening and closing procedures

What We’re Looking For

· Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality

· Strong Leadership and communication skills

· A positive, hands\-on attitude with the ability to work under pressure

· Excellent organisational skills

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays

· Personal License (preferred but not essential)
