We deliver Health \& Social Care training across Birmingham, the Black Country, and surrounding areas from our head office in Sutton Coldfield.

We are looking for passionate, engaging professionals to join our Aspiring Trainer Programme.

This opportunity is perfect for experienced care professionals who want to transition into training and assessment. Whether you are new to training, hold a teaching qualification but need practical delivery experience, or have workplace training experience without formal teaching or assessing qualifications, we will provide the support needed to help you succeed.

Through our structured Aspiring Trainer Programme, you will receive coaching, mentoring, observation feedback and ongoing support whilst working towards your:

  • Fully funded \- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)

  • Fully funded \- Level 3 Assessor Qualification
Upon successful completion of the programme and achievement of your qualifications, you will progress into a Trainer Assessor role, with further progression opportunities available through our Lead Trainer and Advanced Practitioner pathways.

We deliver:

  • Health \& Social Care qualifications at Levels 1\-3 (government\-funded and commercial programmes)

  • Care Certificate programmes

  • Refresher training for professionals to maintain skills and compliance

  • Stand\-alone training sessions in a range of care\-related topics
Responsibilities include:
  • Delivering and supporting face\-to\-face training and assessment in classroom and workplace care settings

  • Supporting learners throughout their learning journey and providing constructive guidance

  • Supporting continuous learner progress and maintaining accurate records

  • Planning and preparing engaging learning sessions using approved training materials

  • Adapting delivery methods to meet individual learner needs and learning styles

  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance training programmes and share best practice

  • Participating in quality assurance activities, standardisation meetings and continuous professional development

  • Building positive working relationships with learners, employers and stakeholders

  • Staying updated with industry standards and compliance requirements

  • Maintaining high professional standards and contributing positively to Embark's training culture
What We're Looking For
  • At least 3 years' experience within the Health \& Social Care sector (Essential)

  • A genuine passion for care and developing others

  • A desire to inspire, motivate and support the next generation of care professionals

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Confidence sharing your knowledge, skills and experiences with others

  • Commitment to achieving professional qualifications and continuous professional development

  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn

  • Access to your own car and willingness to travel across Birmingham \& the Black Country (Essential)

  • Willingness to deliver face\-to\-face teaching and assessment in classroom and workplace settings
No teaching or assessor qualifications are required.

We will provide the training, qualifications, coaching and support needed to help you become a successful Trainer Assessor.

We particularly welcome applications from:

  • Experienced Health \& Social Care professionals looking to transition into training

  • Individuals who hold a teaching qualification but have limited delivery experience

  • Individuals with training experience who do not yet hold teaching or assessor qualifications

Please Note

  • This is a fully site\-based role and is NOT a remote or hybrid position.

  • The successful candidate will deliver face\-to\-face teaching, assessment and learnersupport in classroom and workplace care settings.

  • Regular travel across Birmingham, the Black Country and surrounding areas is required.

  • A flexible approach to delivery is required, including occasional evening or weekend training where required.
