The Role
Were looking for a driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to deliver profitable growth across 7 depots.
Youll:
Grow existing customer accounts
Win new business
Support branch teams to hit sales \& margin targets
Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Youll also manage your own customer ledger and play a key role in driving revenue, protecting margin, and increasing market share.
What Youll Be Doing
Sales \& Business Development
Deliver sales \& margin targets
Build and manage key customer accounts
Identify and secure new business opportunities
Cross\-sell products and services
Track competitor activity and market trends
Branch Collaboration
Work closely with Branch \& Area Managers
Share pipeline activity and market insights
Support branches in converting sales opportunities
Supplier Engagement
Conduct joint supplier/customer visits
Promote new products and initiatives
Maintain strong product and market knowledge
Planning \& Performance
Maintain structured call plans
Manage and update sales pipeline
Track key performance metrics
Credit Management
Ensure customers stay within credit terms
Work with Credit Control on accounts
Resolve queries to minimise risk
What Were Looking For
Experience
Proven track record in sales growth
Field\-based sales or account management experience
Strong commercial awareness (pricing \& margin)
Experience winning new business
Industry knowledge (plumbing/heating preferred)
