Apprentice Receptionist
Finney Lane Surgery is a friendly, patient centered GP practice, situated in a purpose\-built Health Centre in Heald Green Stockport, looking after over 7000 patients.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard\-working and motivated Receptionist to join our team.
You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with Patients, GPs, other healthcare professionals and the wider practice team.
Although very rewarding, the job can be pressurised, and a calm and confident outlook is vital.
- Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. This could be in person or via the telephone.
- Be friendly and approachable to all service users.Provide general assistance to the wider practice team.
- Requirements
- Prior office experience or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is important
- Strong computer skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of data entry procedures and clerical processes
