We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties

• Assisting dentists during various dental procedures and treatments


• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are sterilised and ready for use


• Providing support to patients, including explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort


• Maintaining accurate patient records using IT systems


• Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment


• Supporting with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence


• Adhering to health and safety protocols, including infection control standards


• Learning and developing skills related to patient care, infection control, and dental procedures through ongoing training

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of patient care principles and a genuine interest in healthcare


• Good command of English, both written and verbal


• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members


• Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment


• IT literacy, including familiarity with computer systems for record keeping and administration


• Prior experience in nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate


• Ability to work as part of a team with a professional attitude and willingness to learn
