As demand for low\-carbon heating continues to grow, we are expanding our renewables division and are looking for skilled Air Source Heat Pump Installers to join our team across the Midlands.
Role Overview
As an Air Source Heat Pump Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and handover of ASHP systems in domestic properties. You will play a key role in helping customers transition to energy\-efficient, low\-carbon heating solutions.
We will be looking for multiple ASHP Installers across the Midlands area. Opportunities open to subcontractors with a view to build a direct team in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of Air Source Heat Pump systems in domestic properties
- System design input, including heat loss considerations and system layout
- Installation and integration with existing or new heating systems (radiators/underfloor heating)
- Hot water cylinder installations (including unvented systems where qualified)
- Commissioning, testing, and system balancing
- Providing clear customer handovers and basic system guidance
- Ensuring all work complies with MCS standards and industry regulations
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
- Proven experience in heating system installations (plumbing \& heating background)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of heating systems and controls
- Good problem\-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience installing Air Source Heat Pumps
- Relevant ASHP training/qualification (e.g. recognised manufacturer or industry courses)
- Unvented Hot Water (G3\) certification
- MCS accreditation experience or familiarity
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing \& Heating (or equivalent)
- Electrical knowledge relating to heating systems
- Both subcontractor and permanent work available
