Description
As an Accounts Senior, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting services while working closely with managers and partners.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients.
- Manage accounts, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Provide advice and support to clients on financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in preparing tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality service.
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
A successful Accounts Senior should have:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification).
- Experienced within an accountancy practice environment.
- Confident preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Comfortable managing client relationships and handling queries independently.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
- Keen to continue developing professionally.
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
