Customs Coordinator - Freight Forwarding
A well-established freight forwarder based in Eastleigh is looking to recruit a Customs Coordinator to join their friendly & expanding forwarding team. If you have previous Customs experience and looking to join an innovative, forwarding thinking company, then this could be the perfect role for you.
The Role:
Working within a team, you will be responsible for completing import & export Customs entries managing compliance and advising of Duty rates etc...
You will be responsible for providing great customer service, ensuring cargo is cleared in a timely fashion, and to keep clients fully updated on the progress of their shipments.
You will also get the opportunity to learn the forwarding side of the business, specifically road freight.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience of imports and exports
- Customs entry knowledge
- Communication skills
- Problem solving ability
