Youth Support Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. This role involves engaging with young people, providing guidance \& support to help them develop their skills and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and deliver engaging activities tailored to the interests and needs of young people.


• Provide mentorship and support to help youths develop social skills, confidence, and resilience.


• Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.


• Work closely with families, schools, and community organisations to support young people's development.


• Monitor behaviour and intervene appropriately to promote positive conduct.


• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and progress reports.


• Assist in organising events or programmes aimed at youth engagement and development.


• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

• Organisational skills to plan activities and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.


• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting youth development.


• Energetic with a positive attitude


• Ability to work independently
