The Year End Accountant will play a key role in supporting the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the Energy & Natural Resources industry. This temporary role requires a keen eye for detail and experience in accounting and finance processes.

Description

• Prepare and review year-end financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations.


• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.


• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.


• Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.


• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes.


• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.


• Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.


• Ensure all financial deadlines are met efficiently and effectively.

Profile

A successful Year End Accountant should have:

• Professional qualifications in accounting or finance.


• Proven experience in preparing financial statements and year-end accounts.


• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.


• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.


• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Job Offer

• Hourly rate between £450 and £550, depending on experience.
