Description
- Prepare and review year-end financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.
- Ensure all financial deadlines are met efficiently and effectively.
A successful Year End Accountant should have:
- Professional qualifications in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements and year-end accounts.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Hourly rate between £450 and £550, depending on experience.
