We are hiring hands\-on Workshop Technicians and Trainee Engineers to help build, maintain and install our innovative leisure and event equipment used across the UK and internationally.

This role is ideal for practical people who enjoy working with tools, building things, repairing equipment and learning new technical skills.

Applicants from many backgrounds are welcome including mechanics, fabrication, carpentry, electrical assembly, workshop technicians and practical hobby engineers.

The Role

Working in our Buckingham workshop you will help:

  • Build and assemble mechanical equipment

  • Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems

  • Work with materials including metal, timber, plastics and composites

  • Use hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery

  • Assist with equipment installation at UK venues and events

  • Support testing, maintenance and improvement of our equipment
No two days are the same – projects range from mechanical builds to electronics, fabrication and event installations.

Skills We Are Interested In

You do not need experience in everything, but experience in any of these is useful:

  • Mechanical repair or maintenance

  • Vehicle or machinery mechanics

  • Fabrication or welding

  • Carpentry or woodworking

  • Electrical wiring or electronics assembly

  • Workshop manufacturing or equipment assembly

  • CAD, CNC or 3D printing

  • Model making or prototype building

  • Engineering workshop experience

  • Event equipment installation

A driving licence is required.

Salary \& Benefits

  • £26,436 – £32,500 starting salary (trainee level)

  • Overtime available

  • Event work opportunities (premium rates)

  • Typical earnings £30k – £40k\+ depending on overtime

Location

Workshop based in Thornborough, Buckingham (MK18\) with occasional UK and overseas work.
