Lano is a global payroll platform enabling companies to standardize and manage multi\-country payroll operations through a unified technology layer.
We are looking for a Working Student – Sales \& Business Development (m/f/d) to act as a vital execution layer across both our commercial pipeline and partner operations. In this role, you will balance hands\-on client outreach with strategic data management, assisting with global pricing tools and sourcing international payroll partners to drive our market expansion.
Main Tasks:
Sales related tasks:
- Research and qualify inbound leads
- Own CRM data input across pre\-qualification deals
- Handle first outreach to qualified prospects, crafting clear, personalised communications
- Overtake discovery calls with prospects as you grow your commercial confidence \- real deals, real conversations
- Support the team with data collection, input and organisation.
- Supporting the Sales team in answering questions related to RFPs and quotes focusing on pricing topics
- Optimising, updating and editing the commercial offers and pricing tool that is used to issue quotations to global clients
- In charge of finding out if In Country Payroll Service Providers have updated their pricing
- Supporting business development efforts in sourcing payroll partners in Lano's markets
- Gathering and pushing the Rate Card items to the operations team. This includes following up with questions about rate card items.
- Organised individual with attention to detail
- Proactive person, ready to jump into projects
- Knowledge of Spreadsheets (Google or Excel) and basic modeling skills
- Google Suite and Microsoft Office, in addition to Notion, Slack, Google sheets.
- Good sense of prioritisation and being able to deliver projects in time
- Relatable person that can get along with others and create rapport
- A background in Business, Sales, Analytics or Finance fields of study or relevant experience
- If you’ve worked in a Payroll provider or in the Payroll industry this would be great
- Passion for Business Development, Fintech, Payroll, Accounting or legal
- A good sense of humour is always welcome
