About the Role
Peer Genius is partnering with an ambitious and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Workforce Planning Manager on a self\-employed contract basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded workforce planning professional to play a key role in shaping how the organisation plans, develops and deploys its workforce.
Operating on an outside IR35 basis, this role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced contractor to deliver strategic workforce planning expertise within a dynamic and forward\-thinking organisation.
As Workforce Planning Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of workforce planning strategies that ensure the business has the right people, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time.
Working closely with senior leaders, HR, Finance and operational teams, you will use data, insight and forecasting to identify workforce challenges and opportunities, supporting effective decision\-making and long\-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic and operational workforce planning frameworks.
- Analyse workforce data, trends and future demand to produce accurate forecasts and actionable insights.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to understand current and future workforce requirements.
- Identify skills gaps, workforce risks and succession planning opportunities.
- Develop workforce models and scenarios to support business planning and organisational change.
- Provide insight into headcount, capacity, capability, recruitment and retention requirements.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Finance and Talent Acquisition teams to align workforce plans with business strategy and budgets.
- Develop and maintain workforce planning dashboards, reports and metrics.
- Support organisational transformation, restructuring and change programmes.
- Continuously improve workforce planning processes, tools and methodologies.
We are looking for an experienced, analytical and influential Workforce Planning professional with the ability to translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in workforce planning, strategic workforce management, resource planning or organisational planning.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Experience developing workforce models, forecasts and scenario plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leadership teams.
- A strong understanding of workforce trends, talent strategy and organisational capability.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with workforce planning systems and reporting tools would be advantageous.
- A commercially focused mindset with the ability to connect workforce strategy to wider business objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Previous experience working in a contract or consultancy environment would be advantageous.
