We're looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our growing People Team to deliver across a variety of ER cases within a task\-based environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an ER professional who is passionate about delivering expert advice, resolving complex workplace issues and helping managers navigate employee relations matters with confidence.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor across complex, high\-profile and VIP employee relations cases, providing commercially focused advice that balances risk, cost, and business outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement by ensuring case recommendations are implemented and lessons learned are embedded across the business.
- Shape and develop people policies, procedures, toolkits and ER best practice, using your expertise to support wider HR projects and initiatives.
- Share knowledge and build capability across the ER team through coaching, training and development activities.
- Champion exceptional customer service, delivering a responsive, professional and solutions\-focused experience.
- Significant Employee Relations experience with a strong working knowledge of employment law and risk management at a complex level.
- Proven ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels including Director level and above.
- Strong commercial awareness, balancing legal compliance with practical business needs.
- Experience developing HR policies, guidance, manager training and best practice frameworks.
- Excellent communication, coaching and relationship\-building skills
- Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively with HR, Employment Law and wider business teams.
- CIPD Level 5 desired (or interested in studying towards qualification) and confident using Microsoft Office applications.
- Hybrid working arrangement with a collaborative and supportive People Team.
- Exposure to a diverse range of employee relations cases across both public and private sector contracts.
