Employee Relations Advisor
Location: Birmingham
Contract: 37\.5 Hours, Monday to Friday

We're looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our growing People Team to deliver across a variety of ER cases within a task based environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an ER professional who is passionate about delivering expert advice, resolving complex workplace issues and helping managers navigate employee relations matters with confidence.
Role Responsibilities* Provide expert employee relations advice and guidance to managers across a wide range of employment matters, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
- Support and coach managers through disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, absence management, flexible working and conduct\-related matters.
- Assess employee relations risks and provide pragmatic recommendations that balance legal compliance with commercial objectives.
- Support investigations into complex employee relations issues, ensuring matters are handled professionally, sensitively and in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with Legal and Occupational Health partners on Early Conciliation cases, Employment Tribunal claims and workplace wellbeing matters.
- Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application in a business environment.
- Proven experience advising managers on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, OTC
- Strong investigation, problem\-solving and decision\-making skills, with the ability to assess risk and recommend appropriate courses of action.
- Experience operating within a Shared Services or centralised HR environment would be beneficial.
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
- Exposure to a diverse range of employee relations cases across both public and private sector contracts.
