The People \& Culture Department

The People and Culture department at Norton Rose Fulbright comprises Human Resources, Talent \& Resourcing, Diversity \& Social Impact, and Learning and Development.

The Role

The Workday Functional Consultant will support the delivery of a strategic programme to extend our existing Workday solution to a new region. As part of the next delivery phase, the role will provide hands\-on functional configuration across Core HCM and Compensation, with Recruitment experience desirable to support future delivery activity.

Working closely with the NRF HRIS team and AMS capability, the consultant will provide dedicated support across build activities, testing preparation and execution, defect resolution and deployment preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands\-on configuration and functional expertise across Workday Core HCM and Compensation , supporting the successful rollout of Workday to Australia.

  • Support requirements gathering, solution design, and configuration activities within Recruiting , where experience exists.

  • Support tenant build and migration activities, and readiness activities in preparation for testing, playback sessions, and deployment milestones.

  • Contribute to testing activities, including defect management, issue investigation, and the timely resolution of configuration\-related queries.
Skills \& Experience
  • Proven experience, typically 5\+ years configuration experience (configuring business processes, security, reports, etc) within Workday.

  • Strong functional expertise in Core HCM and Compensation .

  • Recruitment experience is desirable, particularly where this supports future configuration and testing activity.

  • Experience supporting Workday build, testing readiness, defect management and deployment preparation.

  • Ability to manage workload independently while working as part of a wider delivery team.

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem\-solving capability.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable:
  • Workday Certification or Pro accreditation

  • Experience working in a global or multi\-region environment

  • Exposure to professional services or similarly complex organisations
Contract Details
  • Duration: 6 Months Contract

  • Location: UK Office based with hybrid flexibility

  • Reporting to: Head of P\&C Transformation \& Change
