About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Wig and Breast Care Consultant to join our specialist team delivering services to NHS‑referred and private patients. This is a rewarding role supporting individuals undergoing cancer treatment, hair loss, or breast surgery, helping them regain confidence, comfort, and dignity during a challenging time.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely within NHS referral pathways and uphold NHS standards of care at all times.

What you’ll be doing

As our Wig and Breast Care Consultant:

· Provide one‑to‑one, confidential consultations for NHS and private patients

· Fit and advise on wigs, breast prostheses, and mastectomy bras.

· Offer sensitive emotional support alongside practical product guidance

· Process NHS prescriptions, vouchers, and patient documentation accurately

· Maintain patient records in line with our customer record management systems, GDPR and NHS confidentiality requirements

· Deliver wig care, styling advice, and aftercare support

· Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection control, and professionalism

· Support clinic operations, stock management, and appointment schedules

What we’re looking for

Essential

• A caring, empathetic, and patient‑focused approach


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• High levels of discretion and professionalism


• Ability to work confidently with people in sensitive circumstances


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Experience in healthcare, clinical support, care, beauty, hairdressing, or healthcare retail


• Previous work with NHS patients or prescriptions


• Wig fitting or breast care experience (full training provided)


• Knowledge of cancer care or post‑surgical patient needs
