WEEE Buyer / Account Manager
WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A WEEE BUYER / ACCOUNT MANAGER TO JOIN AN ESTABLISHED AND GROWING BUSINESS WITHIN THE RECYCLING AND WASTE MANAGEMENT SECTOR.
Salary £32k \- £45k \+ commission/bonus, depending on experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across WEEE, recycling, waste, ITAD, electronics or a similar environment, who is looking for a role with a strong commercial focus and plenty of opportunity to develop.
The role will combine buying, account management, sales and business development, so you’ll need to be confident dealing with customers and suppliers, negotiating commercially and building strong long\-term relationships.
The role
- Buying WEEE and electronic waste from new and existing suppliers
- Managing and developing a portfolio of customer and supplier accounts
- Negotiating prices and ensuring profitable deals
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and customers
- Managing enquiries from initial contact through to completion
- Keeping up to date with market pricing and industry trends
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure deals and collections run smoothly
- Growing existing accounts and developing new revenue streams
We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident and proactive, with a genuine understanding of the WEEE/recycling market.
Ideally, you’ll have experience in a buying, trading, sales or account management position within:
WEEE, E\-waste, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Electrical Waste, Electronic Waste, IT Asset Disposal, ITAD, Electronics Recycling, Electrical Recycling, Recycling, Waste Management, Waste Recycling, Scrap Metal, Metal Recycling, Electronics Trading, Electronics Wholesale, IT Recycling, Computer Recycling, Data Destruction, Asset Recovery, Reverse Logistics, Waste Brokerage, Commodity Trading, Secondary Materials, Resource Recovery, Circular Economy, Environmental Services, Renewables, Battery Recycling, Plastics Recycling, Compliance, Waste Consultancy
You’ll be comfortable negotiating, picking up the phone, developing relationships and looking for the next opportunity.
Pay: £32,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
