Wedding Sales Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic sales lead to join our team at Hampton Castle, Herefordshire.
A royal wedding gift in 1427, Hampton Castle is returning to its roots, becoming a unique destination castle wedding venue. With 600 years of history and 25 castle bedrooms, the castle now offers exclusive\-use, multi\-day celebrations with an innovative planning experience. Our vision is to establish Hampton Castle as one of the UK's leading destination wedding venues.
As the Wedding Sales Manager, you'll own the entire sales pipeline and help set strategy, while still working first\-hand with prospective couples. You'll often be the first person a couple speaks to, helping them envisage what their wedding at Hampton Castle could be and leading them through the booking process with confidence, assurance and warmth. You will lead the sales function across the wider weddings team, providing training and development, and work closely with the rest of the leadership team to build the wedding business at the castle.
What you'll be doing
- Owning the full sales pipeline \- taking accountability for converting enquiries into bookings.
- Building and continuously refining the sales process, CRM systems and reporting.
- Responding to enquiries personally in a way that creates the feeling that they've found somewhere special.
- Conducting viewings that do the castle justice \- showcasing its history, function spaces, and the scale of what a multi\-day celebration can become.
- Providing sales training and development for the wider weddings team, and supporting recruitment of sales\-focused roles as the company grows.
- Sales experience in luxury hospitality or a similar industry, ideally with previous experience of owning a sales pipeline.
- A track record of hitting sales targets while building genuine relationships with clients.
- The commercial acumen to set strategy, forecast and report \- and the discipline to build the systems that support it.
- The confidence, polish and emotional intelligence required to work with discerning couples, often planning from abroad, who expect a high level of service.
- Strong organisational skills and CRM discipline.

- Hours: Full\-time, based at Hampton Castle in Herefordshire (some evenings and weekends required for viewings and events)
- Salary: £35,000\-£45,000 base, plus performance\-based commission
