Job description
A fantastic opportunity to join a local catering company as a Wedding \& Events Co\-ordinator.
Work involves planning and coordinating before, on the day operations when trained, as well as working post event close down.
This job is both office and operational where setup, packing/unpacking \- working/running events and breakdown/clearing away is part of the job requirements.
Having a background in hospitality and have previous experience in the same or similar rolls is essential.

The nature of the business demands flexibility towards working hours / days.
Organized and passionate about running events.
Has excellent level of both spoken English and written English.
Is ability to work under pressure and on one’s initiative.
Have the ability to deliver high all round service standard to clients.
Able to communicate well with the Kitchen team.
Be “hands on” in all aspects of the events operation.
Good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel.).
Has previous experience in the same or similar rolls essential or hospitality.
Driving: Candidate must be able to drive and have clean license with own car. Candidate must be prepared to drive company vans to/from events. Full UK driving licence is required
Some of the elements of your job are listed below of which you will be involved with and training will be given:
- Answering client enquiries/calls.
- Sending our client packs, quotations and database following up.
- Host meetings and tastings.
- Organising Event sheets/staffing/hire.
- Running Events from start to finish including packing, set up and unpacking for events.
- Liaise closely with our Venue's and work alongside them at events.
- Run our tasting sessions
- Attended/organise open days.
- Organise equipment including maintaining and cleaning, including disposable ordering. linen and stock take's.
- Social media posting
Hours:
Office hours are normally 8:30\-5:30 Tuesday to Saturday, there are some expectations on Monday's and Sunday's on occasions.
If no events are booked on Saturdays then, office hours are normally 8:30\-5:30 Monday to Friday of that week.
Event hours: Event day hour vary depending on the event but later starts/later finishes are required, so a location fairly close to base is preferable.
Pay:
£28,000\.00 \- £36,000\.00 per annium, experiance dependant with the latter price range having supervisor or manager experiance.
