Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing the planning and execution of weddings and special events at our venue, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and guests alike. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. Previous experience in hospitality, hotel management, or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of wedding and event planning from initial enquiry to event completion

  • Liaise with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for their event

  • Manage vendor relationships, including catering, decoration, entertainment, and other service providers

  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of events to ensure timely execution

  • Upsell additional services or upgrades to maximise client satisfaction and venue revenue

  • Develop detailed event timelines and checklists to ensure smooth operations on the day

  • Provide exceptional guest services by addressing client needs promptly and professionally

  • Manage budgets, invoices, and payments related to events

  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained throughout all event activities
Skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure

  • Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines and coordinate multiple events simultaneously

  • Outstanding communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members

  • Proven ability in upselling services or products to enhance client experience and revenue

  • Experience in hospitality, hotel management, or restaurant environments is advantageous

  • Knowledge of fundraising activities related to events is a plus

  • Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour

  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required for events

  • Proficiency in organisational tools such as scheduling software or CRM systems
