Duties
- Manage daily website operations, ensuring content is current, accurate, and engaging across all pages using content management systems like WordPress or Drupal.
- Implement responsive web design principles to optimize user experience across desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Develop and maintain front\-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, and AJAX to create interactive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify areas for improvement in site navigation, layout, and overall functionality.
- Enhance website performance through SEO best practices, data analysis with tools like Google Analytics, and regular site audits.
- Collaborate with graphic designers using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to produce compelling visual content and wireframes with Balsamiq or Figma.
- Perform website maintenance tasks including updates, backups, security checks, and troubleshooting technical issues using Git or SharePoint.
- Monitor website analytics to assess performance metrics and implement data\-driven improvements for better engagement.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in web design and front\-end development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal for efficient website updates.
- Knowledge of SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) for graphic design and UI/UX enhancements.
- Ability to utilize wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma or InVision for user interface planning.
- Competence in responsive web design techniques ensuring optimal display on all devices.
- Understanding of back\-end technologies including PHP, Python, SQL (MySQL), Node.js, or VHDL for comprehensive website management.
- Skills in website analytics platforms like Google Analytics to track performance metrics effectively.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git for collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of email marketing tools like Mailchimp for integrated digital campaigns.
