Responsibilities

• Develop compelling website designs using digital design principles, ensuring visual appeal and usability across devices.


• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with tools like Balsamiq, Axure, Figma, and Adobe XD to visualize concepts clearly for stakeholders.


• Implement front\-end features utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, AJAX, and Node.js to bring designs to life with seamless interactivity.


• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in content structure and technical performance.


• Maintain and update existing websites built on content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal while ensuring website responsiveness and accessibility standards are met.


• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design improvements; analyze data with Google Analytics and data analysis skills.


• Collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive branding and functionality across all digital platforms.

Skills

• Proficiency in digital design tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Acrobat, and VHDL for specialized tasks.


• Strong knowledge of interaction design principles, information architecture, wireframing (using Balsamiq or InVision), UI/UX best practices, and responsive web design techniques.


• Front\-end development expertise with HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular, AJAX for asynchronous data loading, and Bootstrap for responsive layouts.


• Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint; familiarity with PHP and MySQL for backend integration.


• Version control experience using Git; familiarity with Node.js frameworks like Redux; understanding of Python or SQL for data analysis tasks is a plus.


• Knowledge of usability testing methods and tools like Visio or Axure to enhance user experience through iterative design improvements.


• Ability to perform website maintenance tasks efficiently while ensuring optimal performance through analytics tools like Google Analytics; experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp is advantageous.
