Duties

  • Design visually compelling websites using digital design principles, ensuring aesthetic appeal and usability across all devices through responsive web design techniques.

  • Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes utilizing tools like Balsamiq, Axure, Figma, or InVision to visualize user flows and interface layouts.

  • Implement front\-end features with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, AJAX, Bootstrap, SCSS, Less, and Node.js to create seamless user experiences.

  • Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in content structure, metadata, and performance enhancements.

  • Maintain and update existing websites built on content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal; perform regular website maintenance tasks.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design improvements; analyze data using Google Analytics and data analysis skills.

  • Collaborate with developers and content creators to ensure designs translate accurately into functional websites while adhering to brand standards using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Adobe XD.
Experience
  • Proven experience in digital design, interaction design, UI/UX principles, and information architecture with a strong portfolio demonstrating web projects.

  • Hands\-on expertise in front\-end development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), PHP, Python or SQL for backend integration when necessary.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and experience working within collaborative environments using tools like SharePoint or Trello.

  • Knowledge of website analytics platforms like Google Analytics and experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Telerik is a plus.

  • Ability to create wireframes and prototypes using Balsamiq, Axure, Figma or InVision; experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.

  • Strong graphic design skills complemented by proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign and Adobe XD.

  • Understanding of responsive web design principles ensuring optimal performance across desktops, tablets and smartphones; familiarity with frameworks like Bootstrap or SCSS is advantageous.
