Role Overview

As Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for operational delivery and IT across the business. This includes managing projects, supply chain, client engagement, compliance, and supporting our digital systems. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to ensure our high standards and TRUTH values are upheld in every contract.
Key Responsibilities
------------------------
Supply Chain \& Procurement
- Support contractor selection and management
- Oversee supplier material selection with Procurement Manager
- Monitor subcontractor valuations and variations
- Agree final accounts with relevant stakeholders
Tenders \& Project Delivery
- Lead bid/no\-bid decisions
- Conduct site visits and provide technical input for tenders
- Assist with value engineering and contract strategy
- Review contract documents, design coordination, and mobilisation
- Set and monitor contract KPIs and quality benchmarks
- Oversee resource allocation and project site performance
- Liaise with SHEQ Manager for compliance and incident management
- Resolve complaints and oversee defects management
IT \& Systems
- Oversee company IT systems in partnership with consultants
- Make strategic decisions on system use and user management
Client Engagement \& Business Development
- Represent the company at networking events
- Key account management and opportunity identification
Compliance \& Quality (ISO)
- Support internal and external audits
- Develop and sign off quality and policy documents
People \& Training
- Monitor resources and recruitment
- Oversee HR processes via Easy HR
- Agree personal development plans and manage appraisals
General \& Financial Management
- Support business continuity and fleet management
- Chair operational and management meetings
- Agree department budgets and monitor financial performance

- Proven experience in operational management, preferably in construction, electrical, or compliance sectors
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Experience with ISO, health \& safety, and digital systems
