Water Treatment Equipment Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Water Treatment Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing and installing water treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental standards and optimise operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about sustainable water management and engineering solutions.

Primarily covering London and surrounding areas, a company van will be provided for travel.

Duties

• Service and maintain water treatment equipment such as water softeners, RO, UV and chemical disinfection systems.


• Oversee installation and commissioning of water treatment equipment on\-site.


• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of water treatment systems to ensure optimal performance.


• Troubleshoot technical issues using hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques.


• Maintain detailed records of system performance, maintenance activities, and compliance documentation.


• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.


• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and equipment.


• Experience with installation, maintenance, or repair of water treatment systems is desirable.


• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.


• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.


• Good problem\-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.


• Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and clients professionally. This role is ideal for a proactive individual committed to delivering high\-quality engineering solutions in water treatment projects while ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout all operations.
