Role Overview

UK Vending Ltd is a leading supplier of vending solutions, bottled water, coffee, and wholesale products to businesses across the South East of England. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer\-focused Delivery Driver to join our growing team, based from our warehouse in Rochester, Kent. ME1 3DQ

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our product range – including bottled water, coffee supplies, and wholesale vending products – to our customers across the London, Essex, and Kent areas.

Key Responsibilities

Deliveries \& Collections

• Load and unload vehicles at the Rochester warehouse at the start and end of each shift


• Carry out daily delivery routes across London, Essex, and Kent in a safe and timely manner


• Deliver bottled water, coffee products, and wholesale vending supplies to commercial customers


• Collect empty bottles, returns, and equipment as required


• Obtain proof of delivery (POD) signatures from customers on each delivery

• Conduct daily vehicle checks (walk\-around inspections) before departure


• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and fit for purpose at all times


• Report any vehicle defects, damage, or incidents immediately to management


• Operate any manual handling equipment (such as sack trucks or pump trucks) safely and responsibly

• Represent UK Vending Ltd professionally at all times when dealing with customers


• Build positive working relationships with customers on your route


• Handle and resolve minor customer queries or issues at point of delivery, escalating as necessary


• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and to the customer’s satisfaction

• Complete all delivery paperwork, dockets, and electronic records accurately


• Adhere to all relevant road traffic laws, Highway Code, and company driving policies


• Follow all health \& safety procedures, including manual handling guidelines


• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery notes

Essential Requirements

• Full, valid UK driving licence (category B minimum) with no more than 6 penalty points


• Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided


• Good geographical knowledge of London, Essex, and Kent


• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks (e.g. lifting and moving water bottles)


• Punctual, reliable, and self\-motivated with excellent time management


• A professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers and colleagues


• Ability to work independently and manage a route efficiently


• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for completion of delivery documentation

• Experience driving a light commercial vehicle (LCV/van)


• Knowledge of the vending, drinks, or wholesale distribution industry


• Familiarity with handheld delivery devices or route planning software


• First Aid certificate (training can be provided)

This is a full\-time, permanent position based from our Rochester warehouse. Standard working hours are:

• Starting wage: £12\.72 per hour
