We are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager (12 month FTC) to join our M\&S site in Milton Keynes. You’ll support operational leaders with oversight of the team on a day\-to\-day basis, ensuring that all activity is completed in a timely and accurate manner, consistently achieving departmental KPI’s.

This is a full\-time, permanent position, where you’ll be working an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern. The hours of work will be 14:00 \- 22:00\.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £38,064 per annum, plus a shift allowance of up to £3,929, dependent upon shifts worked. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Oversee the day to day running of the warehouse in your area, you’ll lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve targets, whilst managing under / over capacity of work areas


• Lead on all people processes including welfare, performance, KPI management, T\&A, coaching, recruitment \& selection, appraisals, and talent


• Pro\-actively support the site and customer’s continuous improvement initiatives, acting as an advocate on site for cultural change


• With good understanding of Health \& Safety you’ll strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A proven track record at a similar level, within a fast\-paced warehouse environment


• The ability to effectively lead, develop and motivate a team, including deployment to meet changing priorities


• Excellent planning, organisational and problem\-solving skills


• Ability to interpret operational data with a good knowledge of KPIs
