Warehouse Supervisor
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team on a 4\-day working week. This is a hands\-on supervisory role covering both goods in and goods out operations, as well as the day\-to\-day management of an automated bagging machine. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the smooth running of our warehouse, leading a small team and ensuring operational targets are consistently met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Goods In \& Goods Out
- Supervise and coordinate all incoming and outgoing stock movements
- Ensure accurate goods in checks against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Manage the timely dispatch of outbound orders, verifying accuracy before goods leave the site
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all inbound and outbound shipment
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the automated bagging machine during each shift
- Carry out basic pre\-shift checks and routine maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Monitor machine output and quality, identifying and reporting faults promptly
- Coordinate with the engineering or maintenance team for any required servicing or repairs
- Train and supervise warehouse operatives in the correct use of the bagging machine
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives across each shift
- Allocate tasks effectively to meet daily workload requirement
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Support stock takes and cycle counts as required
- Complete shift reports and handover documentation accurately
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong understanding of goods in and goods out processes
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast\-paced environment
- Good attention to detail with sound numeracy and literacy skills
- Comfortable using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software
- Valid forklift licence (counterbalance and/or reach)
- A flexible and proactive approach, with willingness to work weekends as part of the regular rota
This role is based on a 4\-day working week and will include weekend working as part of a rotating shift pattern. Specific shift times will be confirmed at interview. Flexibility to cover additional days during periods of high demand may occasionally be required.

Pay: From £13\.50 per hour
