Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
PB Group Ltd are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor who can join our thriving B2B and B2C warehouse team, located in Burscough. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving and managing performance of all warehouse operatives, ensuring safe operations and supplying quality service to our customers in an efficient manner.

What is expected of you?:

Duties

· Issue tasks to a team of warehouse operatives in all aspects of warehousing from Goods\-in to Replenishment, Picking, Packing and Distribution

· Manage colleagues time, attendance, performance and conduct, including absence management, return to work interviews, investigations, KPI measurements and general employee conduct

· Ensure high stock inventory accuracy

· Promote safe methods of work

· Effectively communicate to Management any issues and pro\-actively look to remedy them

· Daily reporting to Line Manager, overseeing the end to end processes of our operation

· Ensuring a clean, safe environment is maintained and promoted

Skills and Experience Requirements

· 2 years’ Experience of Supervising or Team Leading a B2C or B2B warehouse operation, in a fast paced environment

· Can prioritise, organise, multitask and work under pressure

· Able to communicate with employees with regards to performance management, ensuring safety \& compliance with set standards

· Familiar with working with contracted and agency staff

· Results driven, understanding of and achieving KPI’s

· Experience of using Warehouse Management Systems, preferably Sage 200/Sicon, Unleashed, Shopify or equivalent.

· Excellent Stock Control knowledge and experience

· IOSH (preferable but not essential)

· Experience of Fork Lift Trucks, the transportation industry and the use of 3rd party couriers

· Comfortable with opening and closing premises, with a high focus on security

· Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving skills/mentality

Salary: £35,000 per year

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.

Days of work: Any 5 out of 7 days including weekends

Work Location: In person, on\-site in Burscough

Pay: £35,000\.00 per year
