Warehouse Supervisor Tilbury

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Tilbury. You’ll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operation and supporting the Warehouse Manager to ensure everything runs safely, efficiently and to company standards.

Key Responsibilities • Supervise and allocate workloads to the warehouse team.

• Ensure all warehouse activities follow SOPs and Health & Safety procedures.


• Monitor and achieve daily/weekly warehouse KPIs.


• Ensure documentation and records are completed accurately.


• Support recruitment and induction of additional warehouse staff.


• Monitor MHE maintenance and report faults.


• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site security.


• Ensure staff training and development is kept up to date.


• Deal with performance and operational issues effectively.


• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency.

About You The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous warehouse supervisory/team leader experience.


• Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations.


• Good understanding of Health & Safety and SOPs.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.


• Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.


• Knowledge of freight forwarding, customs or supply chain would be advantageous.


• Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
