Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our logistics centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, ensuring efficient materials handling, and maintaining safety standards. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving activities.


• Manage and optimise processes related to materials handling and logistics to improve efficiency.


• Oversee the utilisation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms for inventory control and reporting.


• Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including safe operation of forklifts and mechanical equipment.


• Organise heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper technique and safety procedures are followed.


• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and oversee shipping \& receiving operations.


• Implement process improvements to optimise workflow, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.


• Maintain accurate documentation related to warehouse activities and inventory records.

• Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics roles, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.


• Demonstrable knowledge of materials handling equipment, including forklift operation (certification preferred).


• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms.


• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast\-paced environment.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.


• Experience working with 3PL providers, shipping \& receiving processes, and process optimisation initiatives.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
