Hours: 29 per week Monday \& Friday: 17:30\-23:00, Tuesday Wednesday Thursday: 17:30 \- 23:30

Summary of Role

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Porter to join our busy operation in Coatbridge. This role plays a key part in supporting the smooth running of the warehouse by ensuring stock is moved, loaded and organised safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles


• Move stock safely throughout the warehouse and loading areas


• Prepare goods for dispatch and delivery


• Support the receipt and checking of incoming deliveries


• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment


• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times


• Assist with stock movement and general warehouse duties


• Work as part of a team to ensure operational targets are achieved

Skills and Knowledge

• Previous warehouse, porter or logistics experience is beneficial


• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely


• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record


• Good communication and teamwork skills


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment


• Basic understanding of warehouse health and safety practices


• Good attention to detail


• Flexible and proactive approach to work

• Experience working within a distribution or logistics environment


• Manual handling training


• Experience using warehouse equipment or pallet trucks


• Understanding of goods\-in and dispatch processes
