Warehouse Packer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are maintained.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in materials handling, warehouse management systems, and shipping and receiving processes within a fast\-paced environment. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.

The position involves physical work, including heavy lifting, and requires a proactive approach to safety and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking and packing items according to order specifications


• Preparing goods for dispatch


• Loading and unloading goods from lorries or storage areas


• Handling materials safely and efficiently


• Maintaining stock levels through effective stocking and inventory management


• Using warehouse systems to track stock movements and update records


• Carrying out quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards


• Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks


• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe at all times


• Working with team members to meet daily packing targets and deadlines

Experience

• Previous experience in warehousing is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided


• Experience in shipping and receiving, picking and packing, or stock management will be beneficial


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment


• Good attention to detail


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team


• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

This is a short\-term, casual role with hours offered as required depending on warehouse workload.

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
