Duties

• Handle materials with care, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and stocking of products to meet customer orders and inventory needs


• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to load, unload, and move goods throughout the facility


• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing efficiently


• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, inspecting goods for quality control, and documenting all transactions


• Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly to move products safely within the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols


• Conduct routine stock checks and organize storage areas for optimal space utilization


• Support mechanical tasks related to equipment maintenance or troubleshooting when necessary

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar logistics roles with a focus on materials handling and stock management


• Valid forklift certification and mechanical knowledge to operate equipment confidently and safely


• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing


• Strong understanding of shipping \& receiving procedures, including documentation and quality control measures


• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards


• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for picking, packing, stocking, and quality assurance tasks


• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors

Pay: £25,420\.00\-£40,267\.42 per year
