Warehouse Operative/Van Driver

Job Description:

Six month contract.

We are an established Event Hire Company looking for a reliable and organised Driver/Warehouse \& Logistics Coordinator who can also drive a company van. This role is key to ensuring our events run smoothly, from warehouse operations to on\-time deliveries.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8\.30AM to 5\.30PM. Saturday 9am to 12PM

Only applicants living in Ireland will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vans to deliver and collect event equipment, so full clean driving licence is essential.


• Plan and set out delivery and collection routes for drivers. So a good knowlegde of the city is also essential.


• Load and unload vans safely and efficiently.


• Organise and oversee warehouse operations.


• Coordinate and manage drivers’ schedules and daily tasks.


• Ensure equipment is stored correctly and maintained in good condition.


• Communicate clearly with the events team regarding logistics and timelines,

Requirements

• Full, clean driving licence


• Garda Vetting will be required


• Experience driving vans (essential)


• Fluent written and spoken English (essential)


• Strong organisational and time\-management skills


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team essential


• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, as this is a manual job that requires constant lifting.

Desirable

• Previous experience in events, logistics, or warehouse work


• Experience managing drivers or small teams
