Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing stock, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth warehouse functions, uphold quality standards, and contribute to the overall success of our logistics process.

Duties

• Handle materials with care, ensuring accurate picking, packing, stocking, and storage of products


• Operate forklifts safely to load and unload shipments, moving stock around the warehouse as needed


• Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing deliveries


• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update records accurately


• Conduct quality control checks to maintain product standards and identify any damages or discrepancies


• Assist with mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting


• Picking and packing of customer orders


• Unloading / loading deliveries with FLT

• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, with familiarity in materials handling and stock management


• experience operating FLT, preferably using pivot truck. Refresher training will be given


• Ability to perform picking and packing on a daily basis


• Strong attention to detail for quality control tasks


• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow procedures precisely

Expected hours: 38\.75 per week
