Warehouse Operative

Job Purpose:

· Responsible for the loading, unloading, movement, processing, labelling, and storage of product inside and outside the warehouse facility.

Job Duties:

· Prepares orders for dispatch by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes.

· Ensure that the product ready for dispatch conforms to the picking list provided i.e. quantity etc.

· Reports non-conforming goods.

· Measure and weigh packed products and annotate the necessary paperwork as and when required.

· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, maintaining

clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Responsible for the movement of goods/products around the warehouse.

· Helps to maintain inventory levels by carrying out regular stock checks.

Requirement/Experience/Competence/Qualifications:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel) or willing to work towards.

· Knowledge of QHSE Legislation.

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.

· Proven experience and knowledge working in a warehouse environment.

· Proven experience to work as part of a team.

· Displays a good attitude towards work, and the aims and objectives of the company.
