Warehouse Operative

Pipe Dream Fittings is a well\-established pipe fitting supplier with a strong online presence throughout the UK.

Our warehouse in Brierley Hill DY2 is looking to recruit a full\-time, permanent, reliable Warehouse Operative.

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and seamless functioning of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.


• Light machine work including use of threading machines


• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping.


• Maintain stock records.


• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.


• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free of hazards.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.


• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.


• Waste disposal

Requirements:

• Experience or license of a Bendi Forklift is highly desired


• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.


• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.


• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.


• Strong teamwork and communication skills.


• A positive attitude and a commitment to quality work.

Working hours: 40 hours per week \- 9\.30am\-6pm Mon \- Thurs \| Friday \- 9:00 \- 5:30pm
