We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including stock management, order fulfilment, and inventory control.
This full\-time position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast\-paced environment, contributing to the efficient handling of materials and products.
Duties
- Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch, using PDA's and barcode scanning.
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Booking goods in and checking stock accurately
- Moving stock safely around the warehouse
- Supporting general stores and warehouse duties
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
- Following all company Health \& Safety procedures
- Supporting the wider team with additional duties when needed
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of materials handling, picking \& packing, and stock management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical fitness suitable for manual handling tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work in a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety standards
- FLT/Man\-Up machine experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Monday to Friday 8\.30am to 4:30pm
