Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including stock management, order fulfilment, and inventory control.

This full\-time position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast\-paced environment, contributing to the efficient handling of materials and products.

Duties

• Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch, using PDA's and barcode scanning.


• Loading and unloading deliveries


• Booking goods in and checking stock accurately


• Moving stock safely around the warehouse


• Supporting general stores and warehouse duties


• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe


• Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks


• Following all company Health \& Safety procedures


• Supporting the wider team with additional duties when needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred but not essential


• Knowledge of materials handling, picking \& packing, and stock management systems


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail


• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team


• Physical fitness suitable for manual handling tasks throughout the shift


• Flexibility to work in a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety standards


• FLT/Man\-Up machine experience is beneficial but not essential.

Details:

• Monday to Friday 8\.30am to 4:30pm
