Warehouse Operative – 3PL Warehouse \& E\-commerce Fulfilment

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our growing 3PL (Third\-Party Logistics) Warehouse team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods for a variety of e\-commerce and fulfilment clients.

This role involves working within a fast\-paced warehouse environment, carrying out daily warehouse operations including goods receiving, stock control, order fulfilment, and dispatch. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics operations, and e\-commerce fulfilment processes.

The role requires physical work, including regular lifting and handling of products weighing up to 20kg.

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound shipments and checking goods against delivery documentation


• Putting stock away into designated warehouse locations


• Operating WMS (Warehouse Management System) and PDA scanners accurately


• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders


• Preparing Amazon FBA shipments and other e\-commerce fulfilment orders


• Managing inventory and assisting with stock counts and cycle counts


• Labelling, palletising, and preparing goods for transport


• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently


• Maintaining accurate stock records and warehouse documentation


• Performing quality control checks to ensure customer requirements are met


• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment


• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

• Legal right to work in the UK


• Previous experience within a warehouse, fulfilment centre, or 3PL warehouse environment


• Experience using WMS systems and PDA scanners


• Ability to independently lift and move products weighing up to 20kg


• Basic English communication skills


• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Mandarin Chinese speaking


• Previous experience in e\-commerce fulfilment or Amazon FBA preparation


• Forklift experience and/or valid forklift licence


• Experience working in a multi\-client warehouse environment


• Understanding of inventory control and stock management procedures
