You’ll work under the direction of our Stock Controller, playing a vital part in keeping our warehouse organised, our orders fulfilled accurately, and our customers happy.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Receive, check, and store incoming stock accurately and promptly.
- Ensure all delivered goods and stock are properly secured, wrapped, and protected from damage.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders as directed by the Stock Controller.
- Operate a forklift to move and organise stock safely within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and hazard\-free at all times.
- Load and unload deliveries, checking for damaged or missing items.
- Liaise professionally with couriers and delivery drivers.
- Communicate clearly with the wider team and, on occasion, with customers directly.
- Prepare flooring samples for customer orders.
- Use email, Excel, and internal systems for data entry and order management.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and health \& safety requirements.
- Able to carry out regular manual handling, including lifting and moving heavy stock, throughout the working day.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable — the team counts on you.
- Valid forklift licence (counterbalance or reach truck experience preferred).
- Able to read and follow written instructions accurately, and confident with basic numeracy — no formal qualifications required.
- IT literate — comfortable using email, Excel, and carrying out basic data entry.
- A confident communicator — able to liaise professionally with couriers, colleagues, and occasionally customers.
- Organised and attentive to detail — accuracy matters when handling stock.
- A team player who can take clear direction and get on with the job.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence is helpful but not required.
- £25,000 – £28,000 base salary, dependent on experience.
