Warehouse Operative

The opportunity

Based in Guildford, Surrey, Optimum Golf Technologies is one of the fastest growing technology companies in the golf industry today. Thanks to the ongoing growth of the business, we are seeking a passionate, driven, talented logistics coordinator.

Your key responsibilities

· Pick, Pack and Ship products in line with Sales Order Requirements.

· Organise the collection and shipping of RMA products through the use of 3rd party providers.

· Communicate with couriers and logistic companies in a professional manner.

· Fulfilling customer orders for software through email.

· Safely moving stock between warehouses, ensuring it is stored in a safe and organised manner.

· Ideally holds a forklift licence or certificate of competency. If not, there will be an expectation that this is something which will be required to acquire (provided by OGT).

· Receipting deliveries and booking them in accordingly within the system.

· Physical placing of items within the warehouse following receipt.

· General administrative skills required for the closing of orders, emailing, delivery notifications and tracking shipments etc.

· Management of packaging materials \- Ensuring there is a constant supply in order to process orders.

· Other duties to support the Logistics Manager

Skills and attributes for success

· Experience in a warehouse environment is essential.

· Experience shipping both nationally and internationally is required.

· Stock taking experience is desirable.

· Knowledge of import and export procedures

· Excellent communication skills.

· Team player.

· Confident and resilient under pressure.

· Ability to work on own initiative.

· Flexible approach to work.

· Competent user of Office 365

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: £28,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
