Warehouse Operative

Job purpose:

To carry out warehouse \& roastery activities, to meet customer demand maintain and perform general warehouse duties to maintain a smooth operation.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Will ensure all sales orders are accurately picked in a timely manner and despatched according to agreed delivery schedules


• Will keep stock in a tidy, orderly manner.


• Use Forklift for stock movement \& loading/unloading


• Will ensure that no stock leaves stores without the proper paperwork and signatures required


• Will handle occasional customer queries at the Loading/collection bay


• Will alert managers to incomplete orders and advise to re\-order stock if not already on order on the system


• Will be open to variation in job role as required i.e. flexibility essential in line with needs of the company


• Must be a team player, a good people person, have good customer service skills

9\. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

10\. Complete all necessary database updates and paperwork in a timely manner

11\. Complete any reasonable request for other duties, at the discretion of senior management

12\. Ensure system and workflow processes are adhered to

13\. Outgoing stock \- Picking and packing customers’ orders using handheld scanners

14\. Complete computer updates for all outgoing customer orders \- (Stock out)

· Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.

· English is (spoken and written)

· Driving licence essential

· Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of information

· Experience at meeting daily targets

· Excellent attendance record required

· Flexibility towards working hours and location

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Ability to work with minimum supervision.

· Establish and develop professional attitude, image and method of operation.

· Maintain supportive, co\-operative relationships with everyone with whom interfacing is required.

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: €29,250\.00\-€30,225\.00 per year
