Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling goods, managing stock, and supporting inbound and outbound shipments within a busy warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance the experience you already have in warehouse management, while contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics processes.
Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Process and manage all inbound and outbound freight for high\-value shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with security protocols
- Meet strict daily deadlines to ensure efficient logistics operations
- Updating and maintaining logs as processed
- Load and unload shipments from vehicles for inbound, outbound and domestic transfers, ensuring careful handling of valuable goods
- Oversee all aspects of packing, unloading Proof of Delivery (PODs), triparts, and other relevant documenation
- Ensure all quality control, safety and protection procedures are updated and adhered to
- Provide great customer service at all times
- Collaborate with various operational departments to resolve any logistical challenges efficiently
- Perform all other essential and assigned duties as required to support logistics operations
- Work accurately within strict guidelines and follow company procedures
- Assist the Vault and Warehouse Manager as required

Essential Experience
- Previous experience of working in a busy warehouse environment, including knowledge of shipping \& receiving processes, picking \& packing, and stock organisation
- Proven ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast\-paced environment
- Hold a valid full clean UK driving licence
- No driving bans or unspent criminal convictions \- a full DBS check required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive attitude and strong problem\-solving skills, along with strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent timekeeping
- Good verbal and written English level
- Availability to work 0900\-1800 Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work outside these hours, including weekends, as required
- Previous experience handling high\-value or luxury goods
- X\-Ray Screening licence
- SIA licence
- Strong knowledge of local area, London and surrounding areas
- Basic understanding of information technology and smartphone proficiency
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
