Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling materials efficiently, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties

• Handling products across various stages of the warehouse process, including picking, packing, and stock replenishment


• Operating pump trucks and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively


• Managing shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of goods


• Utilising warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, movements, and stock locations


• Loading and unloading with care, ensuring the safety of all personnel involved


• Conducting quality control checks to maintain product standards


• Stocking shelves and organising storage areas for optimal efficiency


• Drive company van to complete local deliveries


• Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse environment or similar logistics setting


• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar software applications


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently


• Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team


• Flexibility to work in a physically demanding role that involves standing for extended periods and manual handling tasks
