Family Financial Centre Ltd is a growing accountancy and business consulting organisation committed to delivering exceptional digital experiences for our customers and clients. We are seeking a talented Website Designer to take ownership of our online presence and also support the development of client websites.
4\. Job Summary / Overview
As our Website Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually engaging, user\-friendly websites for both the business and external clients. You will work closely with marketing, content, and operational teams to deliver high\-quality digital experiences that support business objectives.
5\. Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops.
- Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Design responsive, accessible websites in line with WCAG standards.
- Develop front\-end components using HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Manage and customise WordPress themes and CMS functionality.
- Optimise website performance, speed, and user engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, development, and leadership teams.
- Maintain website security, updates, and ongoing improvements.
- Stay informed of emerging web design and UX/UI trends.
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in web design and UI/UX design.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience designing responsive websites.
- WordPress theme customisation and CMS management experience.
- Knowledge of UX research methodologies and usability principles.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with React.
- Experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Knowledge of SEO and technical optimisation.
- Experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, or Axure.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics.
- Experience with AI\-assisted development tools such as Lovable.
- Relevant professional certifications.
