We are pleased to announce that a fantastic job role has become available for a highly motivated individual to join the Senior Leadership Team at Kwan Yick UK Ltd. as ‘Warehouse Manager’.

Offering the highest quality brands, we are one of the largest suppliers of Oriental foods, sauces and packaging materials to the Chinese catering, wholesale and retail markets in the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will;
- Have a significant amount of experience working within a busy, fast\-paced warehouse environment.
- Have experience working with SAP and/or other Warehouse computer software.
- Be a strategic thinker who is able to work well under pressure.
- Be able to work on their own initiative, and is confident in their own decision\-making.
- Be able to maintain current knowledge of products and stock locations within the warehouse.
- Have experience with stock rotations, batch management and best before dates.
- Be able to handball a large amount of containers in line with the Companies’ goods in process.
- Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Be able to confidently and effectively lead a team.
- Be able to communicate with the senior leadership team, the Warehouse Team (both the day shift and the night shift teams), and other departments across the Company.
- Be a positive thinker who is able to solve problems quickly.
- Take pride in their work and has a clear understanding of all current health and safety regulations.
- Understand that, as a senior leader within the business, they will be responsible for the day\-to\-day running of the Warehouse.
- Be confident in their ability to complete all work tasks that are associated with the job role, ‘Warehouse Manager’.
- Have the ability to safely handle the movement of supplies from the warehouse to vehicles. This includes a requirement to load and unload trailers safely.
- Be able to accurately pick stock.
- Be able to work accurately and efficiently.
- Be able to maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
- Be able to adapt to change, and feel confident in their ability to highlight any opportunities within existing processes in an effort to improve efficiency across the Company.
- Have experience in change\-management and restructures.
- Be able to assist the Night Shift Warehouse Management Team on *some* occasions, where it may be required.
- Be reliable and able to commute to the Kwan Yick site in Newport, South Wales.
- Have an understanding of employment law.
- Have the current and valid right to work in the UK.

The work location for this job role is in\-person and the successful candidate will be required to reliably commute to the Kwan Yick site in Newport, South Wales.
