Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator
Job Overview
We are looking for an organised, reliable, and proactive Warehouse \& Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day\-to\-day running of warehouse operations, stock management, and shipping coordination for both national and international deliveries.
This role involves physically receiving stock deliveries, checking goods against purchase orders, maintaining accurate stock records, preparing outgoing shipments, and coordinating logistics with courier and freight providers. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Physically receiving stock deliveries and checking goods against purchase orders (POs)
Inspecting incoming stock and reporting any damaged or missing products
Accurately entering stock receipts onto the company stock management system
Organising and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
Working closely with the Operations Director to maintain and monitor warehouse stock levels
Preparing outgoing customer and supplier orders ready for shipping
Obtaining competitive shipping quotes for larger or specialist shipments
Booking outgoing shipments with couriers and freight providers
Preparing all relevant shipping and customs documentation for UK and international deliveries
Dealing with customs, carriage, and shipping\-related queries
Liaising with other departments and team members to ensure smooth operational workflow
Following all warehouse health \& safety procedures and company guidelines
Requirements
Previous warehouse and logistics experience preferred
Experience with international shipping and customs documentation advantageous
Valid forklift license essential
Good computer skills and confidence using stock management systems and Microsoft Office
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to support the wider team
Pay: £12,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
